The conceptual guardians of Rhys Marshall’s (Fantuzzi, Sour Janes) bad feelings, heartache and confusion blended together with a healthy pinch of salt and pepper to make what he aptly calls “Human Soup”. From the depths of depravity and disillusion comes hope in the form of down tempo bedroom-blues, alternative-folk – jangly delayed guitar, drum loops, percussion and visceral lyrics – with his “Salad Girl” in tow, a.k.a. Juliette Wallace (Fantuzzi, Kamoos) supplying rhythmic synth keyboards and haunting vocals for good measure.
